Welcome to our blog! Through this learning tool, we hope to share a glimpse into our classroom. We are a group of 20some 7 and 8 year olds + multiple teachers, that share common ground in learning. We all do it a bit different, we all teach a bit different, but we all respect each other's style. In our community we have the leaders- Mrs. P, Ms. G, and Mrs. G2! There are a few others that pop in from time to time to help us achieve. We also have the "P People." Many classrooms have fancy technology, beautiful bulletin boards, and well stocked libraries- but the most precious resource in OUR classroom is our "P People." Everyday these shiny faces show up to absorb the day's lessons- those planned, and those impromptu teachable moments that we are blessed to have!
This is my 5th year of teaching. In 2006 I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with my Master's in Teaching. After a few years in Richmond, Va, I found my new home in a rural part of Virginia! I work with amazing individuals who inspire me to do my best, so I can inspire my students to do their best. I hope this blog proves both useful for the students who help create, and the readers who enjoy it.
